Excellent Award from Asian Hospital Management Awards 2018 in Community Involvement with “Conflict to Connect; Heart to Heart” Project
Bangkok Hospital Hatyai received the Excellent Award from Asian Hospital Management Awards 2018 in Community Involvement with “Conflict to Connect; Heart to Heart” Project , More than 7 years of operation, More than 8,000 hearts of caring, The significant benefit are patients’ quality of life, develop clinical care team competency, and teamwork strengthened between government hospital network and Bangkok Hospital Hatyai. We work hard to bring those beloved persons back to their families. So, this project is a reflection of “Heart” from clinical care team in both government and private hospital then conveyed to patients’ “Heart” through clinical care process.
Award in Celebration Commemorating the Sixtieth Year of the Reign of His Majesty for the Achievement of a High Standard in Hospital and Healthcare (HA-HPH) Received in Recognition of the Accreditation of High Standard in Healthcare Procedures of Hospital and Health services presented by the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization).
Bangkok Hatyai Hospital had the aim of the continual improvement of the quality of medical care, and in particular, the concept of integrated health care for patients, families, community and staff to enjoy good health when it achieved certified accreditation of quality HA-HPH on February 26, 2010.
Bangkok Hatyai Hospital Ranked Third in the Award Presentations of Best Practices in the Conference, National Forum on Quality Improvement and Hospital Accreditation (Southern - Region).
Bangkok Hatyai Hospital had adopted the goal of continual improvement of the quality of medical care especially for patients with heart disease. Consequently, the hospital built a specialized team with up-to-date equipment for treatment as coronary heart disease is a commonly encountered disease with a high death rate if not treated properly and promptly.
This specialized team of Bangkok Hatyai Hospital developed the quality of care for heart patients by continuous improvement of the process for the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease. This resulted in winning 3rd prize in the presentation of Best Practices in the conference, the Seventh National Forum on Quality Improvement and Hospital Accreditation (Southern - Region) on January 24, 2006.
Bangkok Hatyai Hospital Cafeteria Received Recognition in its Preparation of Food and Beverages
“Halal” is a certification symbol for those who follow Islam (Muslims), that these products are guaranteed in accordance with the dietary principles of religious law for human consumption which cover principles of nutrition, sanitation and food safety. The cafeteria of Bangkok Hatyai Hospital gives serious importance to its food service for its Muslim patients and customers by continually improving its services. Consequently, it has received certification of “halal” by the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand for its food and beverage production on November 2, 2005.
Award for Excellence in Washrooms (5 stars) of Songkhla Province
Bangkok Hatyai Hospital has given great emphasis to maintaining cleanliness to the facilities and environment of the hospital to ensure the utmost safety, comfort and convenience of its patients and patrons.
As a large number of patients and clients use our public toilets daily, the hospital has, thus, continually improved the facilities and procedures in maintaining their cleanliness resulting in receiving an award for “Excellence in Washrooms (5 Stars)” in the competition “Annual Outstanding Toilet Awards” of the Health Department of the Ministry of Public Health and the Office of the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of the Interior on 9 February 2005 arranged to raise to a higher standard the public toilets and sanitation in Thailand.
Award for Laboratory for Examining Workers who are Going Abroad for Work
As a standard for the medical technology profession for medical laboratories, the Association of Medical Technologists of Thailand together with the Medical Technology Council and the Office for the Art of Healing, Ministry of Public Health have stipulated guidelines in establishing clinical laboratories quality systems and continually upgrading the quality of the testing they carry out in various areas such as clinical chemistry, hematology, clinical microscopy, blood banking, clinical microbiology, immunology, toxicology, molecular genetics and other laboratory tests involving specimens from human samples.
The Association of Medical Technologists of Thailand issued its certification on 21 March, 2005 and presented the award in a ceremony at the 29th Annual Conference of Medical Technologists of Thailand held between 27-29 March, 2006 in Surat Thani Province where the director of Bangkok Hatyai Hospital presented this award of recognition to the head of the Pathology Deparment (Mr. Supachai Poshui) who received this award on behalf of department .
